MORGAN SUPERSPORTS (1933-39)

Until '35, Supersports had distinctive 'Beetle-back' styling, with spare wheel mounted on top of tail. After that date, there was the 'Barrel-back' with recessed spare. All had unswept exhausts running along the bodywork; there were only two engine choices and three speeds now standard. To give 80mph plus performance, the ohv JAP had such mods as 7.5:1 cr and polished valves and heads. Cheap speed guaranteed by a '34 asking price of £135, but they're extremely expensive today.
