2-door 5-seater convertible/coupé/hardtop coupé.

Oldsmobile's well-liked but short-lived 'muscle car', using the 112ins wheelbase F85 Cutlass platform, with large and powerful engine. Title meant 400cu ins, four-barrel carb and twin exhausts, and all cars distinguished by smart colour schemes and heavy-duty equipment including anti-roll bars front and rear. Up to 125mph when 360/370bhp engines fitted. Enlarged engine for 1970 and '71 model years, but 4-4-2's popularity faded with other such 'muscle' models.
