The car that set the GT estate mode, and still looks right. New chassis, with longer wheelbase and wider track; spacious open-plan interior. Manual, overdrive or automatic available, all have servo front disc brakes, and all are glass-fibre, so no rust problems as far as body is concerned. Restyled 1976, 2.8-litre engine from 1980. Earlier SE5 and SE5a (1971-76) models most desirable.
