Sports 2-seater.

Lovely looking two-seater sports car, the long flowing wings, long bonnet and slab tail being perfectly proportioned. It had go as well as show, too, 90mph a good return for a £395 outlay. Modifications included a raised compression ratio (7:1), a counterbalanced crank and high lift cam, while on the chassis front there was a 104ins wheelbase (15ins less than an SS1), an 18 gallon tank, and both Telecontrol and Hartford friction dampers were fitted. A fabulous machine, it laid the foundations for the SS100 and the whole immortal line of post-war Jaguar sports car.
