TVR 3000M

2-door 2-seater coupé.

Third of the early seventies M-Series cars, with identical chassis and styling to 1600M/2500M models. This car with the Ford Capri 3-litre engine, 138bhp and 121mph. Overdrive available from late 1975, but no automatic option. Like other Ms, had front disc-rear drum brakes. TVR's mainstay in the Uk for many years, whereas 2500M was their special model for the USA. Replaced by Tasmin in 1980.
