Well-executed open four-seater first seen 1949 and a regular listed model until after the end of German Beetle production. UK-available from 1955, but not many rhd cars around. From 1970 'Big Boot' format only. Usual Beetle splendours and miseries, but has always been sought after and so commands a big premium.
