More Gothenburg permutations - this really being the 244/245 body shell and structure with the new Peugeot-Renault-Volvo V6 engine and a slightly different nose style. Several different power outputs, carburettor or injection induction, over the years, and - in the UK - the 2.85-litre engine from late 1980. Rugged carry-all in the same way as the previous estates, and more powerful - 111mph - but only 19mpg in latest form. If you live in Surrey, have labradors and a country cottage, you can't afford to be without one! Also available, but only to special order, was the 264TE, a Bertone limousine version on a 28.7ins longer wheelbase. Very rare in the UK, delivered only in 1978 and 1979.
