The 2019 Ferrari Cavalcade was a feast for the eyes

| 26 Jun 2019

Any event which gathers together 100 Ferraris for a picturesque drive through the Italian countryside is going to make for quite the sight – and for proof, just check out the photos from this year’s Cavalcade.

The exclusive tour, which involved more than 200 enthusiasts and which is now in its eighth year, started in the central Italian town of Benevento on 18 June and ended on the beautiful island of Capri four days later.

On the way it traversed some truly breathtaking routes, snaking through the hills of the Campania region and along the gorgeous Amalfi coast between Salerno and Sorrento, then stopping in Naples so the 100 princely machines could pose for a group photo in the Piazza del Plebiscito.

The line-up was heavily skewed towards more modern machines such as the Ferrari Portofino and the 488 Spider, with several special-edition models including the new Monza SP1 and SP2 also taking part. We also spied the likes of the Enzo, LaFerrari Aperta, 488 Pista Pilota and F50 among the field.

Scroll down for our pick of the images from the tour – and maybe start planning your next holiday to coincide with the 2020 edition.
