Surtees' Gullwing for sale

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL 'Gullwing' owned for the past 18 years by 1964 F1 World Champ John Surtees is to go to auction at Coys' Technio Classica Essen sale on 2 April. The 'Gullwing' will be sold alongside a low-mileage 300SL Roadster, the ex-Hugh Harben 4.5-litre Bentley and a Ferrari F50. Pre-war entries include a Talbot-Lago T26R drophead coupé that is coming out of a museum after 30 years, a Jaguar SS100 and a Mulliner-bodied Rolls-Royce 20/25.

This is one of the Mercedes Benz car that I like the most. I love the design especially the interior. I'm glad that Mercedes Benz decide to revive the Gullwing concept right now. It is great that they made the modern gullwing with new additional benz parts and accessories.
