The Coys auction will take place in Graz, Austria and, among the cars on offer will be an Alfa Romeo 6C-2500 SS, a Bugatti Type 51 GP, a Bugatti Type 57 Ventoux, a Lagonda LG6 Drophead Coupé and a Ferrari 365GT.

Coys MD Chris Routledge said: “It is extremely rare for a collection like this to come up for auction and all of the cars are being sold at no reserve. We are particularly excited because the classic car market is attracting a whole new range of enthusiasts and investors.”
