Barnfind Lagonda sells again making £30,000

A barnfind Lagonda made bottom estimate to be top-seller at Richard Edmonds' final sale of 2012 at the end of October.

The 1933 3 Litre saloon, which had previously sold for £31k at Brightwells, went for £30,000 on the hammer at the Castle Combe auction.

Other interesting lots included a 1926 Swift 14/40 Tourer (£8200, above), a Riley 1.5 Litre Saloon (£1350) and a 1977 MGB Roadster (£3200, below).

Auctioneer Richard Edmonds said: "My favourite was the 1949 MG YA Saloon [below]. It is a real classic and was well worth the £5900 that it was bought for."
