VW Camper to be auctioned for Children in Need

One of the attractions at CarFest will be sales by Silverstone Auctions and all the proceeds from this 1964 VW Spilt Screen Dormobile Campervan at CarFest South will be going directly to charity.

The Splittie has been donated by Malcolm Railson and Children in Need will benefit as a result. 

The auction house has offered to waive its usual fees for the lot as well as donating 50% of overall profits from the sales to the charity.

Boss Nick Whale, said: “Silverstone Auctions is delighted to play a key role in CarFest to help raise lots of money for a very worthy cause. 

"We’ve put together some fantastic cars for the sale, so I’d encourage visitors to dig deep in order to secure their very own pride and joy."
