Calling all Lotus owners: your help is needed!

| 10 Apr 2015

The Historic Lotus Register has launched an urgent appeal for rare and interesting specimens to take part in a special 45-car display at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power from 12-14 June.

Organisers are hoping to gather the best examples of each road-going model, from the 1950 Mk2 through to the latest Exige and Evora. The cars that are selected will assemble in the castle’s courtyard and complete two demonstration laps of the course before forming a display at the centre of the event.

In addition to the road car gathering, a selection of single-seater racers will be on show from Classic Team Lotus, while members of the public who arrive in a Lotus will be eligible for discounted entry and a single-marque parking area.

“This is a great opportunity to raise the profile of our flourishing club, while giving Pageant of Power visitors a unique perspective on 65 years of Lotus,” said display organiser Malcolm Ricketts.
