| 13 Jun 2011

The Porsche Club of New Zealand is holding a Porsche Parade from 8th to 12th February 2012 on the shores of Lake Taupo in central North Island.

Based at the 5 star Hilton Lake Taupo, social events include a scenic tour and vineyard visits, while the more energetic can enjoy driver training on the full A1 GP circuit at Taupo Motorsport Park or a tarmac gymkhana.

A highlight of the Parade is the Concours d'Elegance and Muster on the Saturday morning.  Organisers are expecting between 200 and 250 Porsches to Parade through Taupo and assemble for the Muster at the Unison Amphitheatre making it the largest ever Porsche event to be held in New Zealand. Two Porsche Museum cars will be displayed in New Zealand for the first time.

Attendance is open to all members of officially approved Porsche Clubs worldwide and PCNZ, which held a successful Parade in 1992 at Rotorua, has already received interest from Germany, Australia, Sweden, the USA and Singapore.
