Castle Combe to host action day

| 9 May 2012

On 30 June Castle Combe circuit hosts its 30th classics and sports car action day.

The event is expected to attract more than 1000 classic, retro, road and race cars to Wiltshire, with cars on display throughout the day and a British sports car theme.

Every paddock car is invited to the Giant Classic Cruise around the 1.85-mile circuit and club members and historic motoring enthusiasts can, depending on car performance, experience more than five laps of the track at race pace (for £35 on the day or £30 in advance). Plus there’ll  be 40-mph escorted sessions for British sports cars, classic cars, modern sports cars and cherished cars.

More than 60 clubs are already signed up for the event including TVR, Lotus 7, the Jaguar Enthusiasts, the MGF Register, Marcos International, Opel Manta OC and Westfield Cotswolds.

The paddock will feature trade stands and there will be awards given for Car of the Show and Club Stand of the Show.
