Classic car auction announced for top London show

The Classic & Sports Car Show will return to the historic Alexandra Palace from 28-30 October, with a brand-new classic car auction added to the itinerary courtesy of London auction house Coys. 

“We exhibited a the inaugural C&SC event at Alexandra Palace last year and were very impressed with the venue, the event itself and especially the knowledge and passion of the visitors,” said Coys CEO Chris Routledge. “We are now delighted to be able to offer an extra element to that already vibrant event.”

Classic & Sports Car Show manager Anna Wales added: “Hosting a significant classic car auction is the hallmark of a major international show and is it testament to the impact made by The Classic & Sports Car Show that it has attracted one in only its second year. We have some very bold and exciting auction developments on the cards and in Coys we know we have a partner with the vision to bring them fruition.” 

Classic & Sports Car readers and subscribers will be able to take advantage of buying tickets at a special early bird rate of just £20 (while stocks last, before 31 July). General access tickets cost £23 plus booking fee and children under 12 go free. A family ticket (two adults and two kids over 12) has been introduced at £69, while a limited number of Gold tickets priced at £50 will allow early entry to the show (from 9am instead of 10am), plus access to the Gold lounge, a show programme and a glass of fizz. 

Just 150 visitors will have the opportunity to buy the £100 platinum package, which includes all of the benefits of the Gold tickets, plus continental breakfast and gourmet buffet lunch alongside the VIPs in the Platinum lounge, priority seating for The Interview Stage, a signed show poster, a three-month digital subscription to a Haymarket magazine, plus a tour of the show with a member of the C&SC team.
