Classics and kit cars join forces for annual run

| 8 May 2012

The classic car and kit and sports car runs from London to Brighton will set off on Sunday 10 June.

The two events will start at Brooklands Museum before going on their separate ways through the Sussex countryside and then reconvening on Madeira Drive in Brighton.

This year’s entrants will arrive in time for a fish and chip lunch and will receive a commemorative plaque and a certificate to mark their participation.

Thousands of spectators are expected for the seafront display of cars, which will be joined by live commentary, trade and vintage stalls, a live band and a group of classics motorcycles and scooters that recall the days of the Mods and Rockers.
