More than 200 classics are expected to attend the Letchworth Garden City Classic & Vintage Car Club’s annual picnic at Halls Green, near Weston, on 8 June.

Launched in 2009 to celebrate the club’s 21st birthday, the event attracts sports cars from Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche, luxury machines such as Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, plus a selection of Morgans, Triumphs and Austins.

Numerous trade stands will also feature at the event.

Entertainment is to be provided by a 1950s rock and roll band and there will be bouncy castle for children.

Organising committee chairman David Davis said: “Bring your classic vehicle and your picnic and have a wonderful time mixing with like‐minded people in a beautiful location. If any club would like to reserve a group space for the day they are very welcome to contact us in advance and we will accommodate them.”

The picnic takes place at Fairclough Hall Farm (SG4 7DP) and costs £5 per vehicle or £2 per person. Gates open at 11am and the event ends at 5pm.
