DJ's Ferraris star at the Festival

Radio DJ and Ferrari collector Chris Evans again wowed crowds at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed with a line up of his Magnificent 7: a collection of seven of his favourite Ferraris.

The Maranello beauties lined up alongside the Cartier Style et Luxe concours entrants, together with the DJ's 250 GTO (a former C&SC cover car, below) which he famously chopped in his 250 SWB Spider for last year.

The display was part of Evans' support for the BBC's Children In Need which involved the celebrity 'auctioning' off a chance to take part in a four-day tour at the wheel of one of the Ferraris.

Evans' part in the charity drive raised more than £400k for the cause and the lucky winners were on hand to drive the car of their choice up the hill at the Festival of Speed - the demonstration run up Goodwood's 1.16-mile hill being part of the prize for winning the BBC Radio 2 fundraising drive late last year.

The seven Ferraris on display included the star's F40 and 599 GTO, along with his 275 GTB/4 (below), 288 GTO and 250 GT Lusso - all painted white following Evans' charity drive at last year's Festival of Speed.

Evans was on hand to take his recently-acquired SA Aperta (below) - Pininfarina's open top take on the 599 - up the hill himself.
