E-types parade through capital

| 6 Jun 2011

50 Jaguar E-types convoyed across London for the opening of the Motorexpo exhibition in Canary Wharf.

The procession was arranged by the Jaguar Drivers' Club and started with a police escort at the home of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders before passing Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square en route to Docklands.

Graeme Carver, CEO of Motorexpo, details here, said: "It's been a terrific day and a fitting tribute to the E-type – we are incredibly grateful to the police and all the owners for providing their support to make it possible."
