Great day out planned at Gaydon

| 30 Aug 2012

Hundreds of veteran, vintage and classic cars are to gather at the Heritage Motor Centre for its Autumn Classic event show 23 September.

Central to the event is the 63-mile Autumn Cream Tea Run, which costs £20 per car (with a driver and passenger) and tours through southern Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, before stopping for tea at the HMC’s Junction 12 Café.

Visitors can also explore the ‘CarBoot 4 BEN’ & autojumble, plus there will be a display of ex-RAF vehicles celebrating 70 years since the opening of RAF Gaydon.

Entry to the static event is free and those arriving in qualifying cars (those of more than 20 years old) can visit the museum for £5 (rather than £11) – the original entry price when the HMC opened in ’93.
