Hundreds of classics at Stony Stratford

| 14 Jan 2013

More than 450 vehicles made the Vintage Stony 2013 a meet to remember for enthusiasts on New Year’s Day.

A 1902 Oldsmobile was awarded Oldest Car, while a Singer Le Mans took the judges’ ‘Take Home Car’ award. A restored Talbot Ambulance snapped up the prize for furthest travelled.

The event raised £1300 for local charity the Willen Hospice.

Event organiser Andy Bush said: “Even in our most optimistic moments we could never have anticipated such a marvellously eclectic selection of cars and we lookforward to our next event [the Stony Stratford Classic Car Festival] on 2 June.”
