Irvine’s F1 Jag to woo Bradford

| 19 Jun 2012

Eddie Irvine’s 2002 Formula 1 Jaguar R3 looks set to be the star of this year’s Bradford Classic show on 18-19 August.

The event – which attracted 15,000 visitors and 300 cars last year – will have a Grand Prix theme with Jaguar Heritage cars out in force. A 1956 Jaguar D-type Long Nose has also been confirmed.

Now in its seventh year, the show is free to the public and for the first time will be located in the newly completed six-acre City Park.

Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s executive member responsible for culture and tourism, said: "The strength of the Bradford Classic show is its wide range of fantastic cars that are on display over the weekend. The completion of City Park adds another exciting element this year and it will be a terrific backdrop for the event.”
