Hundreds of VW campers are expected to attend The Big Bang Camper & Bus Show at Santa Pod raceway from 26-28 April.
Much of the action will centre on the famous quarter-mile stretch of tarmac with Run What You Brung on Saturday and Sunday, plus professional displays from the VW Drag Racing Club in the form of Pro and Sportsman machines.
Away from the strip, the handling track and the purpose-built off-road course will open their gates, too.
There will also be awards for concours-condition machines, while the ‘Rust and Rat’ title will be open to less polished examples.
Not just reserved for VWs, the event will also feature the Fireforce Jet Car and monster truck demonstrations.
Tying in with the camper’s hippy heritage, music will play its part during the weekend with DJs and live bands, including Foo Fighters and Take That tribute groups.
