A stunning Porsche 911R took Best of Show at Spa-Francorchamps’ 18 May ‘Only 911’ concours d’elegance celebrating the model’s 50th anniversary.

The event had 50 entrants covering the wide selection of 911s that have been released through the years, ranging from the narrow-bodied 901 to the modern 911 Club Coupé, which is based on the 991. Just 13 of the latter were built to commemorate the Porsche Club’s 13 founding members.

Owners from Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Germany brought with them four restored 2.4s, one T, three S models, a 964 Turbo S and two 3.2 Speedsters.

Rare vehicles included an ex-Belgian police car, a genuine flat-nose 930, plus a 2.7RS.

Bonhams was also on hand previewing its Spa Classic sale with a 911 2.7 RS that is expected to make £130-170,000.
