Seven iconic ROFGO racers will tackle the hillclimb at this year’s CarFest South from 23-25 August at Jody Schechter’s Laverstoke Park Farm.
Confirmed to compete are a Porsche 908/3, turbine-powered Howmet TX, Ford GT40, McLaren M19A Cosworth, two McLaren F1s – a Longtail and a Short Tail – plus Aston Martin’s DBR9 007.
The Gulf-liveried machines will challenge other cars (grouped in sevens), which cover classics such as a six-wheeled March 2-4-0, Jaguar XJR-9 and a Lancia 037.
