A date has been set for the annual Dragstalgia festival at Santa Pod.
The third running of the classic-themed drag meeting – dubbed the Revival for quarter-mile enthusiasts – will take place on 13-14 July.
Organisers bill it as: "A gathering of Europe’s finest collection of classic dragsters, funny cars, altereds, gassers, hot-rods, 'bikes and American Muscle, it’s already become a ‘must see’ event on many enthusiasts calendars – not least because of the Health-and-Safety scaring 'Fire Burnouts'!"
Dragstalgia promises an eclectic mix of metal, with the pre-’72 American Bodied Super Stock cars looking set to put on a great show.
There will be a 'Cacklefest' on the Saturday evening, plus historic race-car displays and a swapmeet.
