AA World is set to be an integral part of the Silverstone Classic historic motor racing festival from 20-22 July.

The event features 1000 racing cars – track action covering motorsport through the ages – and 7000 classic display cars.

Based next to Silverstone’s Wing pits and paddock complex, AA World features activities including: a heritage display, skidpan and 4x4 experiences, a giant Scalextric track, electric jeeps for juniors, a pitstop challenge, parking challenge and taster driving lessons for those under the age of 12, although there is a minimum height restriction.

President of the Automobile Association Edmund King said: “AA World will get the whole family involved in the fun of driving from Roary The Racing Car for toddlers to hot laps and skidpan sessions for the grown-ups.
