Classic & Sports Car has joined forces with London Concours and Concours of Elegance to pay tribute to the UK’s leading classic car specialists at these two prestigious events.

The brand-new Restoration Showcase will kick off this summer at London Concours from 3-5 June, when world-class restorers and their cars will compete at the Honourable Artillery Company in the British capital.

Our international editor, Mick Walsh, will be on hand to interview entrants about their vehicles on the live stage.

Restorers will share stories about the projects and explain the painstaking process of returning classic cars to their former glory.

The judging panel will select a winner based on each restoration’s authenticity and attention to detail.

That vehicle will then receive an invitation to go on display at Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace from 5-7 September, where it will vie for the overall Restoration Showcase Car of the Year award.

Mercedes-Benz SLs, fast Fords, classic ACs and more will be at London Concours this June

“This new feature marks an important step in recognising not just the magnificent vehicles themselves, but the dedication and skill of the restorers who breathe new life into these mechanical masterpieces,” said Andrew Evans, London Concours Director.

The Restoration Showcase joins London Concours’ exciting 2025 line-up, which also includes a collaboration with the Goodwood Road Racing Club.

The GRRC will curate the cars in the Celebrating 70 years of the Mercedes-Benz SL display, one of eight classes in the main concours competition.

It will be joined by the all-German Young Timers group, The Fast Fords category, the Legendary AC Cars division and more.

And don’t forget, Classic & Sports Car readers can enjoy our London Concours ticket offer by using the code CSCLC at the checkout, here.
