Donations wanted for charity C-type epic to Monaco

| 1 May 2012

A pair of VSCC members are driving a Jaguar C-type down to Monte Carlo for the Monaco Grand Prix Historique to raise cash for charity.

Sarah Adams-Diffey and Liz Wenman are to make the 1000-mile trip in David Wenman's car – which, all being well, will then be raced at the GP Historique – to benefit Breast Cancer Care and prostate cancer charities.

The daring duo will leave the Royal Automobile Club in Epsom on 6 May and plan to arrive at the Automobile Club de Monaco four days later.

As well as raising awareness for the need for people of both sexes to get regular checks, they are also taking donations.
