This year’s XK65 event– which is already expected to be a record breaker – is set to be even more exciting now with the confirmed attendance of Jaguar’s design director Ian Callum on 8-9 June.
Booked to speak at the Luxembourg event’s dinner on Saturday night, Callum will join enthusiasts on the scenic drive earlier in the day behind the wheel of his latest creation – the F-Type.
Notable designs to Callum’s name include the Aston Martin DB7 and Vanquish, plus the latest Jaguar machines such as the XK, XF, XJ and the turbine-powered C-X75 concept.
XK Club founder Philip Porter said: “We are thrilled that Ian is joining us. He’s very much a part of the Jaguar success story today, but he also has huge respect for heritage, is absolutely fascinating on the subject of design and is passionate about his work.”
