The classic movie festival where you pick the films

| 4 Jul 2012

A classic film festival – and by that we mean classic cars being the stars – is on the cards and enthusiasts are being asked to select which movies are shown.

The initiative comes from Clarion Events and Footman James and people who take part in the poll can win a weekend break, a stunt driving course, cinema passes or tickets to the Footman James Classic Motor Show at the NEC in November.

In the run up to this year’s show enthusiasts will be asked to vote for their favourites in six categories: favourite classic motoring movie; favourite classic car in the movies, favourite classic bike in the movies, favourite classic car chase, favourite classic in television and the classic they would most like to see on the big screen.

A selection of the top films in each category will then be shown as a Classic Film Festival series at Birmingham’s Electric Cinema, the oldest working cinema in the UK, in the weeks leading up to the show.

The full category winners will be screened in the Footman James’ Vintage Cinema at the November Show.

All you need to do to vote is complete the poll here and you will automatically be entered into the free draw.
