Archie Scott Brown to be celebrated at Goodwood

| 9 Dec 2016

An incredible lineup of historic Listers has been revealed as one of the star grids at next year’s 75th Goodwood Members’ Meeting, which takes place at the Chichester circuit on 18-19 March.

In excess of 30 Jaguar and Chevrolet-engined Listers will do battle in the all-new Scott Brown Trophy, including a number of Knobblys.

The gifted Archie Scott Brown was the man behind the wheel when the Knobbly made its competition debut at Snetterton in 1957 and, though he failed to win at its first outing, a resounding victory over Roy Salvadori and his Aston Martin DBR1 just days later ensured he would go on to become synonymous with the marque and model.

A capacity grid comprising some of the most beautiful and ferocious sports cars of the period promise a fantastic spectacle.
