Don’t forget to enter your club for this year’s C&SC Club Awards. The deadline – the absolute final cut-off for entries – has been extended until 18 October, so there’s still time to enter.

The hotly contested annual accolades, brought to you by C&SC in association with Lancaster Insurance, are a highlight of the Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham from 11-13 November and entries are flooding in from all corners of the UK’s thriving classic car club scene.
The De Dion Bouton Club and the 289 Register (for various AC replicas) are a couple of the more diverse outfits competing in the category of Club of the Year, along with some big players such as the Jaguar Enthuasiasts’ Club, with its array of technical assistance, racing and charity fundraising activities.
Also pulling in the entries is the trophy for Club Magazine of the Year, with the period artwork of the Austin Counties Car Club’s County Counsel (below) vying with the Vanden Plas Owners’ Club’s Carriagecraft while the recently redesigned Consortium News – the bi-monthly voice of the 90-member Lancia Montecarlo Consortium – is in the running for Most Improved Magazine.

Other contenders include the Wolseley Register’s Wolseley World, with the club also putting forward a nomination for the Club Personality of the Year.
