What do the Lamborghini Diablo, Jaguar XJ13 prototype and John Dodd’s Rolls-Royce-powered ‘The Beast’ have in common?
All are V12-engined and are heading to this summer’s London Concours.
The event, which returns to the Honourable Artillery Company in central London from 4-6 June, will host a celebration of V12-powered classic cars as one of its concours classes.

The unique Jaguar XJ13 will surely be a head-turner at London Concours.
Built in the 1960s, the William Heynes-penned prototype was designed to compete for victory at Le Mans at a time when Ford and Ferrari reigned supreme.
The rear-wheel-drive, sub-1000kg racer looked promising with its 5-litre V12, however, the project clashed with Jaguar’s merger with BMC and the XJ13 was never campaigned.
