The John Haynes Classic

The Haynes Motor Museum will host its second John Haynes Classic this September.

Named after John Haynes OBE, the founder of the eponymous series of car manuals, the event will celebrate DiY mechanics with curated displays of cars and ’bikes.

Car clubs are warmly welcomed, too, and have a tough act to follow after the superb turnout at the 2025 edition.

This year, there will be a showcase in honour of Austin Seven Specials, plus head to the live stage to hear from industry experts and a few famous faces – and don’t miss the parade of cars from the Haynes Heritage Engineering workshop.

Come to the Haynes Motor Museum, just off the A303 in Sparkford, Somerset, between 10am and 4pm. There is ample free parking.
