Spotted a Audi Quattro near Heathrow today, but before I could snap him, he was gone in a flash, however I did hear that wonderful tune coming out of his exhaust. Awesome

Peugeot 403 pickup spotted 19.02.14 in Montreuil sur Mer (very pretty little town about 50 mins south of Calais), belongs to a wine cellar! Cleverly but not over restored with rather dull paintwork, suspect it's deliberate!

Hello. First post in the forum though I've been a reader of C&SC for about 25 years.. lol. Spotted in Greece about 20 kms outside Athens... what's left of a Wolseley 6/90 ..and various other classics (Benz W110/111, Opel Kadett B, Autobianchi A112, a 924/944 shell thrown on top of another car, Beetle, Alfa Giulia sedan, ........, .........., spot the rest..)

..plus an excellent shiny DS visiting a coastal Athens suburb

..and a less than shiny MK2 which is often spotted in the southern parts of Athens

Nice photos, welcome aboard!

Interesting to note how different countries attracted different cars; I always remember Greece as having a lot of VW, Opel and Mercedes, but surprised to see the odd Brit car.  Wolseley and Jag' were not cheap either.

Note, that Wolseley, while looking very sad and beyond saving still has the one thing they were known for - the radiator badge light.

Me - I'll take the DS thanks.

Thank you!

Wolseleys are very rare cars here. But up until the mid-80s you could see lots of MK2's and XJ6's. In todays Athens classic Minis are common - and used as everyday cars not as pet classics.

Love the  forum and the photos, loved reading all the pages

My name's Chris, I live in Coulby Newham, South Middlesbrough and since I left work last January, due to ill health, I've been writing a blog called 'I survived the scrappage scheme' where I've been writing about all the cars I've seen that could have been scrapped under Darling's sheme and have carried a camera wherever I've been..

I've not travelled very far in the last twelve months, just acrossTeesside and North Yorkshire and over to Croft Autodrome so what I've recorded has been quite mundane; old Golfs, BMW 3 series, Honda CRXs and Civcs, Rover 216s and a selection of hatches- Metros, Novas, Micras, 205s andVW Polos.

However I have seen some genuine classic and tonight I saw an MG Maestro-but couldn't get a picture, talk about 'the one that got away!'

These didn't though

Can anyone tell me how I insert a digital photo here?
