Land Rover Show returns after five-year hiatus

| 20 May 2015

It’s been five years since the Land Rover Show last opened its doors to visitors, and the event is now set to return to the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon on 27-28 July.

The show will celebrate everything from the earliest Series Is through to the latest Discovery models, with a number of special exhibits planned throughout the weekend. A selection of early Range Rover Velars will be in attendance courtesy of the Range Rover Register, alongside a 26-strong line-up of Range Rover Classics that were produced to mark the end of Classic Range Rover production.

A group of rarely-seen Land-Rovers that are normally hidden from public view will be let out from the museum’s reserve collection, while the Dunsfold Collection – which is currently seeking a new home – will show off a selection of vehicles from its stock.

“We are really pleased to welcome the return of this great event after an absence of five years,” said show manager Tom Caren. “This should be an absolute must for Land-Rover and Range Rover enthusiasts. For anyone who loves these iconic models, I would strongly recommend coming along to this exciting event.”
