A stunning '33 Delage D8S De Villars from the Patterson Collection bagged Best of Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on 15 August.
The debut of the Paul Russell-restored Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic after its rebuild was a hot topic. Damaged in a fatal collision in 1955, it now proudly wears much of its original bodywork.
A stunning centenary display of Alfas, a dozen Jaguar XKSSs and a celebration of 100 years of the Indy 500 graced the event, which is into its 60th anniversary.
Scott Grundfor's turbine-powered '55 Gilda (C&SC, April), Chuck Swimmer's '54 De Soto Adventurer and Sydorick's '53 Fiat 8V Supersonic (which picked up a class win) were also present.
