The Spa Six Hours features 100-plus entries battling around the spectacular Ardennes circuit from Saturday afternoon into the night, and, as well as the GT40s, entries for this year promise a V8 spectacular with 15 Mustangs, three Ford Falcons and five Cobras taking on 12 of the fastest E-types headed by last year’s winners Jon and Jason Minshaw with Martin Stretton. Standing at the fence watching a GT40 pound through Eau Rouge into the dark is a ‘must see’ spectacle.
The weekend is so much more than just the Six Hours enduro with a 650 entries and 1000 drivers competing spectacular a packed race programme including Pre-’74 Grand Prix cars, dramatic ‘70s prototypes and ‘50s sports-racers all reviving the greatest eras of this famous motor sport challenge.
