Huge Spa discounts for C&SC readers

1

Ten GT40s are set for the Spa Six Hours, the greatest historic racing challenge on 23-25 September, and C&SC readers are being offered a huge, 40% discount on general admission tickets, plus access to the Graham Hill hospitality area thanks to Alain Defalle's Roadbook organisation. All you have to do is download the vouchers attached to this story, print them out and present them on the gate.

The Spa Six Hours features 100-plus entries battling around the spectacular Ardennes circuit from Saturday afternoon into the night, and, as well as the GT40s, entries for this year promise a V8 spectacular with 15 Mustangs, three Ford Falcons and five Cobras taking on 12 of the fastest E-types headed by last year’s winners Jon and Jason Minshaw with Martin Stretton. Standing at the fence watching a GT40 pound through Eau Rouge into the dark is a ‘must see’ spectacle.

The weekend is so much more than just the Six Hours enduro with a 650 entries and 1000 drivers competing spectacular a packed race programme including Pre-’74 Grand Prix cars, dramatic ‘70s prototypes and ‘50s sports-racers all reviving the greatest eras of this famous motor sport challenge.

The Spa Six Hours will also feature a special Jaguar E-type 50th
anniversary theme. As well as the fastest E-types in action on the track, there will be a special parking area organised by the local Benelux E-Type Club. Parking is free to E-type drivers together with a special 10€ discount to all owners. Spa has a historic link with the famous Jaguar as its international racing debut was here when Mike Parkes drove the Tommy Sopwith’s Equipe Endeavour roadster ECD 400 to second on 13 May 2 1961.

There is also a special designated classic car park.

Start planning your visit with a road trip across North France taking in WW1 battle fields, driving the old Spa course and a visit to
Stavelot Motor Museum. The full event timetable is at the bottom of this story, but here are the discount vouchers you need...
