Classic & Sports Car – New concours coming to Bahrain in November 2025

The Royal Bahrain Concours is a brand-new event joining the classic-car calendar in 2025.

Its inaugural edition, on 7-8 November, will present a curated selection of 60 cars, from vintage and classic models through to the latest supercars, at Bahrain’s Royal Golf Club.

It is part of a growing number of classic-car events in the region, including the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival, which returns for its fifth running in 2025, and the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE, last held in December 2024.

As well as the collector-car show, featuring both cars from the immediate area and from further afield, there will be trips to local historic sites, a track day at the Bahrain International Circuit, which hosts the Formula One Grand Prix, and a Cars by Candlelight event.

The all-new Royal Bahrain Concours is being organised by Thorough Events, the team behind Concours of Elegance and London Concours.

The team’s first event was Concours of Elegance in 2012, at Windsor Castle for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

It moved to St James’s Palace in 2013, Hampton Court Palace in 2014 and then, in 2015, was at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. It was back to Windsor Castle in 2016 and, since 2017, Concours of Elegance has called Hampton Court Palace its home – it returns on 5-7 September 2025.

London Concours was established in 2017 and will be in the heart of the British capital this year from 3-5 June, at The Honourable Artillery Company.

A third event, Concours of Elegance Germany, was added in 2024, held on the shores of Lake Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps, its second edition coming on 25-26 July 2025.

The Royal Bahrain Concours becomes the fourth member of the Thorough Events portfolio.

“We’re delighted to launch this exciting new concours, which will bring the world’s finest cars to the Royal Kingdom of Bahrain later this year,” said James Brooks-Ward, Thorough Events CEO.

“It’s an area full of passionate enthusiasts, vibrant culture and natural beauty, making the perfect canvas for this royal concours.

“We are looking forward to delivering a truly world-class concours event, set at one of the Gulf’s most stunning venues: the Royal Golf Club.”
