A rare set of 1950s Ferraris has been confirmed for this summer’s Concours of Elegance.

The three Vignale-styled Prancing Horses – two differently bodied examples of the 212 Export, plus the final 250MM – will join 60 other classic cars vying for top honours at Hampton Court Palace from 5-7 September 2025.

Also included in this year’s line-up is one of about 40 surviving Ligier JS2s, a celebration of the Lotus Esprit at 50, the brand-new Restoration Showcase in partnership with Classic & Sports Car and much more.

And Classic & Sports Car readers can be there for less. Get 20% off by using the promotional code CSC25 when you click here to buy your tickets.

Plus, if you’re travelling to Concours of Elegance in a pre-1990 classic, make use of the Classic & Sports Car car park – enter the code PRE1990 to order your parking pass.

The Ferrari 212 Export Vignale barchetta is powered by Gioacchino Colombo’s V12

One of the 1951 Ferrari 212s coming to Concours of Elegance is one of just four barchettas built by Italian coachbuilder Vignale.

Chassis 0098E’s remarkable originality makes it even more special: its engine, gearbox, suspension and beige-leather interior have been restored, but never replaced.

Even the car’s owner’s manual and toolkit remain.

And it’s still active in historic motorsport. This V12-engined Ferrari has tackled the Modena Cento Ore, the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and the 1000 Miglia in recent years.

This one-of-two, cabriolet-bodied Ferrari 212 Export is now back to its factory specification

Chassis 0098E will be joined by another, even more rare example of the Ferrari 212 Export.

This one-of-two Vignale cabriolet was owned by dealer and collector David Clarke for more than four decades.

It became Clarke’s first Ferrari when he bought it in 1961.

This Ferrari 212 Export has just been restored by Motion Products, Inc in the US.

The Wisconsin-based team of specialists returned chassis 0106E to its original specification – including the maroon paintwork – for the first time in 50 years.

This 1953 Ferrari 250MM was the last built and will be at Concours of Elegance 2025

The final car in Concours of Elegance’s newly announced trio of early-1950s Ferraris is a 1953 250MM Vignale Spyder Series II – and this is the last 250MM of just 31 that were built.

Its competition career began almost as soon as it was delivered to its first owner, American racing driver Harry Schell, in December 1953.

It was shipped to Argentina, where it acquired its red-and-yellow livery to mimic the Spanish flag, and finished second in the January 1954 edition of the 1000km Buenos Aires race.

More than 500 classic cars will be at Hampton Court Palace from 5-7 September

Back in the USA, this 250MM’s motorsport career in the 1950s included events at Kansas City’s Fairfax Municipal Airport and the March Air Force Base in California.

Since then, the Ferrari has featured in classic car collections around the world, and it has contested multiple editions of the 1000 Miglia retrospective.

You’ll be able to see it at this year’s Concours of Elegance, where it will be one of 500-plus classic cars on display from 5-7 September 2025.

And remember, Classic & Sports Car readers can get 20% off tickets by using the promotional code CSC25 at the checkout, here, and we have parking for pre-1990 classics, so remember to enter the code PRE1990 to order your pass for the dedicated Classic & Sports Car car park.

Both the ticket offer and the parking passes are limited, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
