A trio of Mercedes-Benz cars – including one of Juan Manuel Fangio’s race-winning W196Rs – has been announced for this year’s Concours of Elegance.
The rare set, which also comprises the C111-II concept and Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2014 Formula One car, will be displayed at Hampton Court Palace from 5-7 September 2025.

Juan Manuel Fangio drove this Mercedes-Benz W196R en route to his third F1 championship
The Mercedes-Benz W196 was one of the most successful machines in the early years of F1.
The W196R that will be at Concours of Elegance is chassis 13, the car that five-time champion Juan Manuel Fangio piloted to victory at the 1955 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, while on his way to his third F1 title.
The straight-eight-engined racer will be joined by one of the three-pointed star’s most dominant 21st-century single-seaters.
