Rover
ROVER 2000SC/2000TC

4-door 4-seater saloon.

Original and very successful 'P6' design, complete with base-unit structure, bolt-on panels, De Dion rear suspension, disc brakes, and overhead cam engine never used on any other car, having more sporty handling than Triumph but less spacious interior. About 100mph for SC (single carb), but up to 110mph for 110bhp TV (Twin Carb). A fine car, whose (renewable) skin panels rusted badly. Replaced by Mk II version for 1971.
