FORD E93A PREFECT
Tourer, Tudor saloon, Fordor saloon, drophead coupé.
7W with a rounded vee grille, rearwards opening alligator bonnet and auxiliary vacuum tank for the suction wipers. Bodies unchanged apart from the rare drophead, a mid-'39 introduction. Also during '39 you get the centrally-grouped facia of post-war cars, and chain-driven camshafts, the latter also applied to the Anglia. Apart from a wider choice of bodies, the post-war version's a better buy.
