Invicta

Invicta
INVICTA 2½-LITRE/4-LITRE

Sports saloon, drophead coupé.

1937 attempt at an Invicta revival using D6-70 style Delage bodies and Talbot Darracq chassis and mechanics with transverse leaf ifs, Bendix brakes and synchro 'boxes, with Delages's Cotal option, not Darracq's Wilson! A claimed 140bhp came with bigger engine which suggests a full-house GS unit, but probably only one 21/2-litre car actually saw the light of day.
