Shortest-yet (102ins) wheelbase version of XJ6/XJ12 with same floorpan/suspension and fuel-injected 285bhp V12 engine. A few fitted with manual transmission. Coupé style, with rear quarter sail panels, part Sayer/part Lyons. Cramped for four people, but 155mph all out. HE version of mid-1981 onwards was a big update. Original coupé joined by cabriolet, convertible and six-cylinder engines during the 1980s. Lister upgraded a few, too.
