Tim Ashcroft's exciting baby Lagonda with magneto ignition, twin horizontal carburettors, 13ins brake drums and a crankshaft and frame worthy of at least a 3-litre. Plus, it ran up to 6000rpm. Minus, even a tourer weighs nearly 2000lbs. Preselectors (right-hand floor selector) standard, but crash 'boxes available. De-bored version (mid '34 only 2 made) for potential contenders in the 1100cc class. Later made by a separate company as the Rapier (qv).
