Lagonda

Lagonda
LAGONDA V12

Tourer, saloon, drophead coupé, Rapide coupé, saloon de ville, Sedanca, limousine.

First seen at '36 Show, but no production till '38. Chassis as for LG6, only there are three wheelbase lengths this time, and people did fit limousines. The 60-degree short-stroke vee (one camshaft per block) works happily at 5000rpm and with its twin coils, twin SUs and twin electric pumps, it'll haul two tons at 100-105mph. Delightful and almost post-war in concept, but keep your own mechanic.
