OLDSMOBILE SIX (1935-37)
4-door saloon, 4-door touring saloon, convertible coupé, 2-door touring coupé, 2/4-seat sports coupé.
Another good value offering from General Motors (£370 for the four-door saloon), this had hydraulic brakes, three-speed synchro 'box with central change, hydraulic dampers and a ride stabilizer, and used standard GM 'knee action' coil spring ifs. Larger engine was a '37 modification along with large bodies and I-beam X-member frames. Wheelbase was extended that year from 115ins up to 117ins and styling changes included horizontally barred grilles and more rounded lines. Suicide doors (rear-hinged) available only in '35.
